【デザイナーと職人の対話から生まれた、フィレンツェ産木材のフラワーベース「IBUKI vase」ポップアップストアを開催】

生命は空へと向かい、力強く成長していく。ぐるぐる回る螺旋のように。
自然界の生命の鼓動を感じながら、木工職人の手で力強くも繊細な手仕事で表現したフラワーベース「IBUKI vase」のポップアップストアを開催します。
手掛けたのは、デザイナーの田口裕介氏とフィレンツェの木工アーティスト、レオナルド・カッペッリーニ氏。イタリアで開催された世界最大のデザインイベント「ミラノデザインウィーク2024」に出展された作品が、この度日本初公開となります。
作品は、デザイナーと職人がテーマや哲学を共有し、対話を重ねながら生み出されたもの。それぞれの表現が融合し、そこに春の花が加わることで、さらなる生命の息吹を感じられるかのような存在感を放ちます。作品と花の美しい競演を、ぜひお楽しみください。

Experience the heartbeat of nature through the craftsmanship of master woodworkers at the pop-up store for the “IBUKI vase,” a flower vase that beautifully combines strength and delicate artistry.
The IBUKI vase is the collaborative creation of designer Yusuke Taguchi and Florentine woodworking artist Leonardo Cappellini. This masterpiece, which was exhibited at the world’s largest design event, Milan Design Week 2024, is making its debut in Japan.
Born from the shared themes and philosophies of the designer and artisan, the IBUKI vase embodies the harmony of their dialogue. When paired with the vibrant blooms of spring, it exudes a palpable sense of life’s breath and presence. Enjoy the stunning interplay of art and nature as the vases and flowers come together in a breathtaking display.

田口 裕介 Yusuke Taguchi
クリエイティブディレクター 商品開発デザイナー
香川県生まれ。東京藝術大学デザイン科を卒業後、インテリア雑貨会社でデザイナー、バイヤー、マーチャン ダイザーとして経験を積む。その後、イタリアへ渡り、ローマのCOVO社やミラノのDENIS GUIDONE DESIGN STUDIOでアシスタントデザイナーを務めたのち独立。伝統工芸や地域産業を活かしたプロダクトやブランドを 手掛け、イタリアのMilano Design WeekやフランスのMaison et Objet などで展示。国内外で幅広く活動している。
美しさと魅力を追求した商品開発デザインを得意とし、映像や写真を活用したストーリープランニングにも精通。作り手とともに「つくる・伝える・売る」を実現するため、商品企画、グラフィックデザイン、空間デザインなど、多岐にわたる分野で活躍している。
Creative Director / Product Development Designer
Born in Kagawa, Japan. After graduating from the Department of Design at Tokyo University of the Arts, gained experience as a designer, buyer, and merchandiser at an interior goods company. Later moved to Italy, where they worked as an assistant designer at COVO in Rome and Denis Guidone Design Studio in Milan before becoming independent. Specializes in developing products and brands that leverage traditional crafts and regional industries, exhibiting at prestigious events such as Milan Design Week in Italy and Maison et Objet in France. Actively engaged in a wide range of activities both in Japan and abroad.Excels in product development design that pursues beauty and charm, with expertise in storytelling through visuals and photography. Collaborates closely with creators to realize the cycle of “creating, communicating, and selling,” working across various fields such as product planning, graphic design, and spatial design.

レオナルド・カッペッリーニ Leonardo Cappellini
木工アーティスト 木工旋盤職人
1995年、イタリア・フィレンツェ生まれ。科学系の高校を卒業後、フィレンツェ大学でデザインを専攻。自然 や植物への情熱を育む中で木工旋盤と出会い、それが彼の生涯をかけた情熱となる。旋盤技術を習得した後 は、伐採せずに再生木材を活用することを信条とし、自然に囲まれた環境で暮らしながら創作活動を続けてい る。作品は、木工旋盤、彫刻、焼きこがしの技術を組み合わせ、周囲の自然からインスピレーションを得て制 作される。 イタリア木工旋盤アーティスト協会のメンバーとして、国際手工芸展など数多くのイベントに出展。彼の作品 哲学は「すべては変化する」という自然の法則に基づき、物質の変容を通じて「自然そのもの」を映し出すこ とを目指している。
Woodworking Artist / Woodturner
Born in 1995 in Florence, Italy. After graduating from a science-focused high school, pursued a degree in design at the University of Florence. During this time, developed a passion for nature and plants, which led to a profound connection with woodturning—a craft that became his lifelong dedication. After mastering woodturning techniques, he adopted a philosophy of utilizing reclaimed wood without felling trees, living and creating in harmony with nature.His works combine woodturning, carving, and scorching techniques, drawing inspiration from the surrounding natural environment. As a member of the Italian Woodturners Association, he has exhibited at numerous events, including international craft fairs. His artistic philosophy is rooted in the natural principle that “everything is in flux,” aiming to reflect “nature itself” through the transformation of materials.
